you haven't responded about the image, are you selecting to create "disc image" first on your HD?

to be clear, you want to make a copy of this disc, correct?

you could also try dvd shrink and do a full disc back-up, then use nero to burn those off the pc yourself to a blank dvd.

Okay, I used the programme called shrink DVD. The only problem I found that is when I play a DVD and stop it lets say halfway through the film, I can't find a way of starting from the beginning of the film unless I press the first rewind button. Even if I take the DVD went out of the DVD player, and then put it back, it starts from the place I stopped it. If I press the repeat button on my no control, I get a message on the television saying that this button and cannot be used. Any ideas?

ok , so you have successfully copied the disc now, that is a feature of the dvd player, a good one if you ask me. what is it that you want to do? you say it works with the skip button---so what's the problem? i don't know your player, but on mine if you press stop twice it loses it's "memory" and will start from the top again.
