    Audio sync problems

I have sync audio problems with all files recorded with MMC7 (ATI AIW) at 44.100 hz (the only audio type available in MMC7 VCR). I have been reading the "Fixing Audio Synchronization Problems" guide that propose fix it using AVI info; Virtual Dub & Cool Edit. Well, I am stagnated in the damned AVI info step, the controls to move by frames & the buttons to advance and rewind of AVI info player appear blocked, this program is very unstable in WINXP and at the time to extract audio to a wav file the program hang up, all this + the problems that mentions the author in the readme file.
For this reason I wanted to know if exist other way to fix sync problems in avi files.
Greetings and thanks for any help.

The program works perfect, it was not the AVI INFO, it was me that didn't understand well the sync guide (my english is very bad, I'm Argentinean)
      Thanks.

The country is amazing, most of people too (not the politicians) but the situation social-economic sucks and a half of a country is unemployed, I hope that the situation improves.
          Greetings.
