audio out of sync

comp specs: 700mhz, 128m ram

used 720x480 with 1000k/s datarate


audio out of sync and can't figure out why. need solution. thanx in advance

1. Open your resultant file in Virtual/nandub.
2. Set both Video & Audio to Direct Stream Copy.
3. Under audio tab, go the Interleave option. Delay Audio Track is what you should concentrate on.
4. File -> Save as .AVI

i'm kinda lookin for solution that doesn't require guessing. there's no way to calculate that dealy. during the process of a movie, the minute error will snowball quickly. is it possbile that my processor is too slow? is there anyone who uses similar system for their divx making? still looking for solution

When you convert the file using Flask (or similar), select Uncompressed PCM (WAV) audio at 48,000. This will assure that your audio remains synchronized with the video. Upon completion, use VirtualDub to convert the audio to MPEG3 (MP3) 44,100 sound (Make certain to set VirtualDub's "Video" to "Direct Stream Copying" and "Audio" to "Full Processing Mode").
