WinAVI Video Convertor makes Computer Shutdown!

Hey Guyz, my winavi video convertor was working well for long, but now whenever i try to conver Avi files to DVD files, the computer shuts down after around 25% to 50% conversion and makes that Disc is useless. Does anyone knows whats the problem, thanks.

not sure if it will be, but takes half a second to check. so is it set-up right? winavi is one of the poorest software out there. is it only that process that shuts the pc off? i'm wondering if it's possible that it's overheating.

No its just when i try to use WinAvi , its shutting down or else my comp never shuts down. I tried last week twice and took a break and did today and it does the same thing. It can't be cuz of Over Heating. And that was the only tool i was using on the computer that time. help me guyz

what about trying a system restore to when things were ok? no harm in that. make a point now too revert to if you want.
