    ATI allinwonder to divX

I have an ATI allinWonder 32 DDR and i'd like to save in CD in DIVX what I capture from TV on demand. The TV program in MY ATI save files with .mp2 extension compressed in mpeg2 I think.
How can I decode and encode in DivX 5.0 or 4.12?
    Which encoders? Xmpeg? Virtualdub?
    Thank you!!!

TUT TUT TUT TUT, I had that card, give hell and s**t quality.

now I got a hauppauge wintv go pci and HIGH QUALITY for nearly 3 times as less price as that!!!!

Anyway, the quality depends on the source.

if it is MPEG2 file, use vidomi to encode to DIVX.

or create a project in DVD2avi and then load it in gordian knot and crop it there, then save that project and open it in nandub for a 2pass

encode using DIVX 3.11alpha because it is low in file size and best quality

      Thanks!

      Thanks for your reply.
I had other problems with ati drivers...
Actually i've read only artcles about how xmpeg and virtual dub works and i know nothing about programs you told me about. I know that they are good programs but I'd prefer trying with Xmpeg which i have already. Do you know if it's able to open "ATI's files" and how?
      Thanks.

        I have no idea!

I stick to vidomi (www.vidomi.com) if I was u because it is SO simple to use, it is "dummy" proof!

This topic was brought up some time ago. You may benifit from guides at vcd-help.com or divx-digest.com

TMGEnc and Flaskmpeg are the tools you may need.
