    WMV to DVD

Can anyone tell me how to convert a WMV file to a vidio file I can burn to a DVD? I tried to recode in Nero but the program would not recognize the WMV
    format.

    Thanks,

Download free video and audio software. Old versions, user reviews, version history, screenshots.

        avi2dvd should do the trick,

but if you're already familiar with tmpgenc, it'll accept wmv too, using the method here http://forum.digital-digest.com/showthread.php?t=61093

except the script should look like this:

        directshowsource("C:\my file.wmv", fps=x)
where "x" is the framerate of the original.

Riccochet, does burning the WMV file to DVD make the quality better than burning it as a VCD?
