mp3 to ac3 and vice versa

Is there any software/program that converts mp3 to ac3 for dvd audio?

I'm using dvd lab pro. I want to make a dvd from an mpeg. But dvd lab pro splits the audio into mp3. I need to convert it to ac3.

I'm new on this so I don't know if this is right?

I would go for Besweet as paglamon recommended. If you've never used this tool before, please try Belight which is a lighter version of BeSweet and easier for you too

for encode ac3 headac3he is better than besweet and is my choice too.
read in doom9 forum that besweet give issues encoding ac3.
