    ConvertXtoDvd-DVD freezes or stops?

Hello, until recently, Convertxtodvd has been my program of choice for converting avi and mpeg files to Dvd. Recently however, I notice my Dvd's will freeze or stop, after usually a few seconds in my standalone Dvd player. This never happened before, and the dvd's played fine, i even put 2 movies one 1 disc without problems. Could this be a 'codec' problem, or conflicts with 'too' many codecs? The files(movies) play normal on my computer. I have used the Ace Mega codecs pack and installed the professional setup.
Should i uninstall all codecs, and where would you recommend i download the most complete codec pack? I had problems before with the AC3 codec and audio, thats why i used the ace pack. I use nero to burn with.
    Thank you for your help!
p.s. the above happens only on certain movies i burn, most are ok. When I 'reburn' them, same problem, and this is 'not' a media or burner problem.
