What video input device is good for high quality image

what kind of interface usb or firewire? I would like image quality surpasing even the Dazzle hollywood ones, which I have but keeps dropping the transfer and disconnects after 10min of recording so I can't do much with it, I need a good solution that will be stable, any suggestions?

the hollywood bridge version this constatly disconnects from the firewire I think it because of electrical changes is very sensive if I turn the tv it disonncets, and sometimes doing nothing it still disconnects but less often still it usually can't remain active during more then 20min.

Guys which device as canopus goes should I get ADVC100 or 110.
For 110 I have a silver and a white option for 100 I have a black option would if you do have any experience with this ones give me advice as which to buy? or perhaps another non canopus option.
