    Converting From MPEG4 to AVI

I got a video file that was AVI, but then was converted to MPEG4. If I convert it back to AVI, will I regain the quality loss?

are you assuming that the quality increased when it was converted from avi to mpeg4 ? b/c i don't think you can add quality to a video, only lower it.

i think this make about as much sense as... If a fan produces cool air spinning in one direction, it makes perfect sense that if spun in the oppsite direction, it would produce heat.

Lol. No, I don't think that. I knew that the quality would be reduced when converted to MPEG4, and I was pretty sure that quality can't increase after being decreased, but I was talked into confirming it.
