    Xmpeg with DivX 6

    Hello,

I have a problem with Xmpeg and DivX 6. It's always crashes and give me the same errror. A problem with file ntdll.dll. I don't have any problem with divX version below 6.0. Could some one help me how to solve the problem?

Dump Xmpeg or use a lower version of DivX. Could also try XviD. Personally I would go with XviD and dumping Xmpeg.

What you mean Dumping Xmpeg? The program works with lower version, and also with Xvid, but I don't know how to make the proper settings in Xvid for working with standalone players. I tried with Advanced profile 5 and AC3 sounds, but when I played on my dvd player (Panasonic DVD-259S) the movie stops and goes on every 3-5 secs. Do you know exactly the settings for XVID codec working on standalone player?

auto gordian knot makes xvids, and divx files that play fine in my standalone.

I meant that DivX 6.4 or whatever works with other apps. So you could dump Xmpeg and use something else.

With XviD, select a Home Theatre profile, same as DivX. That way you get 1 bframe; packed, no qpel, no GMC, DXN HT compatible VBV settings, etc. If you use my build then you also get no N-VOP's. If you encode DivX with qpel enabled then it wouldn't work on a lot of SAP's either.

The problem was that I needed to choose four cc DX50. Now everything is working fine. Thank you.
