    Splitting DivX

    Hello,

If I split a 1400megs divx with nandub I wont get 2x700mb but the second file will always gain a few extra mb's. I think it got something to do with headers or somethin...

Can anybody tell how to split divx properly without gaining any extra mb's? (1400mb:2= 700mb each).

    Tnx in advanced..

You can use AviSplit Calc v3.4 (available in the d/l section on www.doom9.org). This prog will allow you to either specify split on size or on time of movie.

      Cut out the end credits.

Make sure audio is 44100Hz and 128kbps.

Try making audio a WMA or ogg.

Glad to help. I have found that this prog will split a file in two and there usually is less than 1mb difference between them (if you use the filesize option).
