    GordianKnot output resolution problem.

Hi, as i am new to all this (well not a total newbie )

I am trying to encode a movie, its 110 min long, all the guides i've red say that the percentage (Bits (pixel*Frame) must be 0.15 1CD and 0.25 for 2CD. i get
    this....

and when i move the slider to the right (to meet the 0.25 criteria) the resolution goes in numbers like 768x304
    Any suggestions, would be apreciated

your value at 0.438 is higher than what you want. either increase output resolution or lower bitrate. the whole bit/pixel thing is just a very loose guideline which doesn't really mean much anyway, much like the compressibility test. quality depends too much on settings and content

just note that gordian knot hasn't been updated for quite some time, you might like to try your hand at something like staxrip or MeGUI with xvid
