Converting vob to avi

Hi

I've just started to rip dvds but nothing i do seems to work.

I've tried easy divx but the file wont play, i've tried flask but it wont play with sound and other programs like vob 2 avi won't work.

I really need help on how to convert a vob to avi easly.
