One thing is I think you may need more memory than 256Meg of ram is just a little too low. You should have at least 512Meg. What OS are you using and how many processes do you have running in the background. Having too many processes in the background can cause encoding process to run a long time. On my laptop I have 1Gig of memory and it takes about 45 minutes to encode.
Thanks for the reply, I am using Windows XP SP2. Im running plenty of things from Antiviruses, Cellphone Suites, Download Acceleration Software, you name it.
Plenty, it's a wonder my PC still works.
Anyway, I'm thinking of another solution rather than upgrading my Processor and Memory, I might buy a TV out device that would let my PC interface with a TV.
