ERROR: cannot allocate memory because no size has been set - HELP!

I am converting a 49 min DVD using flask MPEG, I have tried it on 2 different PCs, using different settings, i've used version 0.54 & 0.6, i've uninstalled, re-installed, downloaded etc. but every time, I get the same message when I try to play it.
also, instead of the file being around 350Mb, it is coming out at 36Mb, even though, mediaplayer says the file is 49 mins long (i've tried other players as well)
can someone help as this is taking far too much of my PC time!

All this and not one word about how u encoded the movie.

But let me guess u wanted to use divx4 2-pass, and in flask u selected 2-pass, first pass.

To do 2-passes you have to do a first and a second pass, in other words u need to go back into flask and select 2-pass second pass.
Donate your idle CPU time for something usefull.

Tried that, get 'unspecified error' then whatever I'm using stops responding
