    videoredo plus deinterlace question

I like using videoredo plus to convert and edit my vobs to mpeg form so I can upload vids to a forum. So easy to use. Got a complaint from a forum user saying I should deinterlace my vids coz he can see a stairway effect on it. Now, I view my vids in KM player and I see no stairway effects...but when i view them in windows media player I see them. Have been told to use virtualdub - mpeg to edit and deinterlace the vids but its not as user friendly as videoredo and I have been have been getting and errors when i try creating mpegs in virtdub. Does videoredo have a deinterlace function that i'm unaware of?

I don't have any experience with Videoredo, but I do know you'll need VirtualDubMod for such a task - it supports MPEG2 files.
