I have a Digital camcorder, I have DV and analogue in on my PC, does anyone know of any software (preferably free) that I can use to capture video in either WMV, DivX or MPEG2 at a resolution of 720x576 at 25fps in realtime (I can capture mjpeg or dv avi and convert it but it takes time). If it makes any difference, I have a celeron 900, 256Mb and a Matrox G400-tv graphics card.
Also,
I have just encoded a dvd using MS-MPEG4 v3 in FlaskMPEG, it encoded at twice the speed of DivX 4.x, the quality is better and the file size is smaller, has anyone else noticed this? does anyone have an opinion on this/has anyone else done this with bad results?
