    mkv conversion?

    What program do you guys use to convert mkvX264 to either Dvd or Avi.I have tried ConvertX,Winavi,and allto dvd with no luck.Alltodvd would probably work according to my buddy but,I must not be doing something right.I need something that is user (short of time ) friendly.Thanks for any replys

    dvd Flick, google for it ( free )

    usually MKV convertsion will not be short at least 2-4 hours for one movie

      I did an mkv file, not sure it was a true h264 tho as a 2 hr video was about 2.5 GB, you could tell the video was great quality but I converted it with dvd flick to single layer, the quality degraded slightly

      it didn't seem to take that much longer, maybe 25% more than a high quality avi

          it will degrade for sure but MLV file still better then the avi file

              if you do dvd flick to DL then use rebuilder ( I had too a few times it will look great I hate to burn DL )

                    Well I ran it through Flick 1hr 59min and the audio is totally whacked!! Like in slow motion.

                        The mkv plays great on PC everything syncd and I loaded file and left all defaults in flick?
