Converting to Dvix

What is the best program for ripping my dvds to dvix. Storage is becoming an issue for me and I want to consolidate. I apologize if this has been posted by some one else. Thanks

You probably mean DivX(and not dvix).
There can be a lot of debate over which is best.
Try out AutoGK(easiest), MeGUI, Staxrip, Mediacoder, SUPER,AviDemux........ and then decide yourself. I use AviDemux usually.

Is there a guide to using AutoGk or AviDemux. I had trouble with both trying to figure them out.

That is the other way round. The OP wanted DVD To DivX.
