    How do I cut up a .avi file to burn onto cds?

    Hi everyone....

    this is my first post and first time in this whole area of videos...movies.....

    Problem:

    I have downloaded the movie Spiderman. It's one huge 2.4 gig .avi file.

    I want to know how I can cut it up into (maximum) 700mb chunks to burn to 700mb discs.

    What program/s will I need to do this? I would really appreciate your help.

    Also, are you able to convert .avi to vcd?

          goes to show I didn't read the rules.....hehe

          I actually saw the subject after I'd posted my first one and thought this one was more relevant to what I wanted to know....

          I won't do it again

          man, this took me 3 trys to get it into this collum.....I finally realised I kept clicking
          " New Thread " doh....LOL

          I want to delete my other attemps...don't know how....

          I'm green as they come.....LOL
