Newbie needs help!

[DVD2DivX]

I am using the lastest release of DVDdecryter 3.0 to rip my dvds which is fast, easy and works great by the way. I then use DVD2MPEG squeezer to attempt the conversion to DivX however it always errors out and closes as "error unknown"....so I never get anything. What is the simplest conversion method I can use? I dont care right now about speed so much as getting something that will work.

Very easy to use are XMPEG and DVDx but they are very unstable as you can see from the amount of threads about these progs. Much better is a combination of progs e.g. DVD2AVI with VirtualDub. That's my favorite one. But there are a lots of more.
