How do I convert AC3 to Wav

Ok, just seems a stupid question, and probably is, but a friend of mine couldn't rip the audio from a movie so he had Flask dump it to a .ac3 file.

Now we want to interleave it with the video, but it has to be in wav so that VirtualDub will take it.

I've tryed Graphedit but I can't get it to work.

Anyone knows which filters to use on Graphedit or another way to do this? I've also tryed ac3decode but it gives an error.

    Thanks

But I can't interleave an mp3 using virtualdub, can I?

I was planing to get the wav and then interleave and compress it with vdub at the same time...

first of all: NANDUB is the better choice for muxing

and of course you can mux ac3, mp3 or wave with you avi using nandub.

and why have virtualdub/nandub encode to mp3 when besweet could do this right away?

take a look at my guide:

Virtualdbu doesn't make it clear that you can use other formats but you can. You just make sure that you load the file as mp3 by clicking all files types in the drop down box.

still VD is NO good choice for muxing as NANDUB handles more formats and you wont be able to mux vbr_mp3 for example with VD!
