    independence day prob

When ripping independence day from DVD with smartripper i have no problem but when opening up Flask mpeg, there are 4 DVD movies to possibly select, but only two movie lengths. There correct movie length of 153 mins does not open correctly and if i try to flask the other time, it crashes at 4.7 %. I have tried to rip this movie using mpeg2avi and graph edit and the audio and video match up fine in virtualdub in the first 10 mins but after that they are quite out of synch. Please help! Any suggestions would be a help!

ID4 ripped with smartripper worked fine with me using nandub.

maybe you should change for a more reliable transcoder than flask.

    use gordianknot with divx5 instead!

well if DVD2avi says it is FILM, all you will have to take care of is de-interlacing.

in case you face IVTC, read more in doom9's guide!

it is only some additonal work - the main routine is identical!
