    Video Audio Sync

I'm using TMPGEnc 2.53 to convert an AVI to MPEG2. The conversion is working fine but the audio is out of sync with the video. Anyone have any tips or ideas?

    Thanks,

If the sync problem happens after the conversion, demultiplex the mpeg file, open the audio track in cooledit and apply a filter called strech (effect_time/pitch_strech) You will should put in "ratio" a value accord to the asinch, then save the file and multiplex again in TMPGenc. If you have this problem even before the conversion to mpeg, you can obtain the exact value for the ratio box (cooledit_effect_time/pitch_strech) with avi info.

      check this guide http://www.logicaldesigns.net/divx/p...20Problems.pdf

      Best regards.

        hmm...nice 1

u can also try to extract the audio as wav using virtualdub, then load this wav and avi in TMPGENc and encode as MPEG2
