Mass encoding!

I have about 60 MPEGs that are sitting on my drive, and I would like to compress them all to DivX using the same settings. I currently use VirtualDub but I'm getting tired of opening and closing MPEGs, especially ones that take 5 minutes to parse.

Is there a script or a batch file which I could use to mass convert MPEGS into DivX compressed AVIs?

IN VirtualDub it's as simple as selecting "Job Control" from under the "File" dropdown menu...
