Converting avi file with srt file for DVD player

Hi...i didn't have much time to read the threads in this forum (maybe you've already had topic like this) but i have emergency question... I have DVD player witch can support both CD and USB...i dont want to burn all the movies to watch them because its easier for me to put them on USB... My problem is that i don know with what program i can convert avi and srt file and the output file to be one that my DVD supports like avi...i hope that someone have the answer thanks...Sophia

You need to tell us what model DVD player you have. If it supports Divx Ultra then it probably will also support embedded subs in avi. See the program AviAddXSubs. It's free.

When you say it doesn't play at full screen, do you mean there are black bars at the sides of the video, at the top, or all the way around?
