Hi there, I use Vidomi to convert MPEG2 to avi, then I use virtual dub to improve the quality of the avi file, I don't have any objections with what others say!

i'm a junior too but i'm using nandub. (again) thanks to nicky's guides and some creative guidance from uncasMS's site i am getting very good results and the program doesn't seem TOO difficult... you just have to get the hang of it.

I don't know Nandub, which is the favorite of UncasMS, who is much more experienced than I am.

Anyway, all the DivX I did with Flask were OK, and easy to do (thanks to Nickys' Guides).

FlaskMPEG is the best program for beginners because it has everything built in. Kind of like a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none ... and it's easy to use too.
