    VOB and Adobe Premiere

    Hello!!
    does anyone know how can I convert VOB files to something that will work with Adobe Premiere??

    PS. I want to hight quality, no compressed...

    no compressed? erm....thats gonan be a BIG file - you dont want that.

    so id guess you want to convert it to a DV avi. 2 Gb of disk space will fit about 9 minutes.

    Its also possible to edit vobs in a rudimentary fashion on the timeline in premiere 2 but i dont fancy your chances. If you're gonna convert - convert to DV. Micorosft's codec is not the best but it is sufficient. Canopus' is the best (imho) but you'll need hardware to unlock the codec....

    or a little usb key from the laptop pack they used to sell......cant find those ANYWHERE now....

      how to edit vob in Adobe Premiere?

      i only need simple editing like change the captions, but it seems i can only edit avi files?

      Please help!

        dunno if premiere does mpeg2, but i'd go with avisynth premiereavsplugin/pluginpace
