Recommend a freeware program for mpeg 4 conversion

Could you please recommend a freeware program or a program that is easy to use in converting a dvd into mpeg4 file so I can play the movie on my psp or ipod. The dvds that I am going to convert are burnt dvds.

Yes.And so can the great Lt.Columbo.In fact he was the first to suggest this program in this forum.
        Mediacoder is also good.

          Hi Paglamon,

Sounds like you have used both programs ...

Q: In your opinion which one is better ... "Super" or "Mediacoder"?

          Thanks,
          G!

SUPER is easier. Mediacoder is a bit advanced and has configurable options. So,theoretically,Mediacoder should produce better results IF configured correctly. Here is a link to HELP for mediacoder.

I used Super to convert a movie but the movie was broken up into 4 separate files. Is there a certain configuration that I must set to the movie into one file

I also don't think SUPER is that good...it can really mess up result from time to time and gives weired errors.

                      Is this for Super?
Try setting your Screen Resolution to greater than 800x600:
                      R-click Destop>Properties>Settings Tab.
