Full screen converter?

is there a program or a player that can make an avi or dvd file toplay or convert it so it can play full screen ( I mean all of it) the only thing I can really play full sreen is my musics with Window media player.

Use Media Player Classic, play a file, hit "9" on the numpad, it will zoom in. Keep hitting it to zoom in further, and "5" to reset to default. There are also some zoom/Pan & Scan settings somewhere that might do it automatically.

Quite sure, maybe try hitting Num Lock, then try again.
