How to correct FPS info in MP4 h264 header?

Hi to all!
I have a mp4 clip that has 23,976fps, when i open it with VLC it detects the fps correctly, but i want to convert it to DVD, and convertxtodvd detects a 1000 fps! I tried boilsoft videosplitter and it detects 1000fps too. How can i change the mp4 info so convertxtodvd detects de fps correctly (without re-encoding)?

demux the streams and remux them - maybe that will help you with the file in question
