How do i get Virtual dub... Please help

I've recently downloaded some films, sounds good but pictures jerky
Ive been told i need virtual dub but when i try and download it comes up
Select a mirror
I don't know what this means so i randomly select one
Download it save to disc in "c" drive
It successfully downloads file but when i try and open up virtual dub it says
"Virtual dub is not a valid win 32 application"
Can somebody please please help

You have to unzip the zip-compressed package in order to install the files...

how do i unzip it?

So you download the file... what is the extention of it. Like what does it say in the title of the file? .zip? .exe? and what are your computer specs.
