Unknown AVI video codec?

I just got an avi file, but I am unable to view the video.

I first tried:

FFDSHOW, which did not work,

then I uninstalled it and tried

All video formats in Nemo Codec Pack.

still did not work.

Mediaplayer does not know the Video codec format.

Anybody know if there are other AVI codec out

there I can try?
