I use WMP 9 as it plays all my vids with better sound.
(used WMP 6.4 in the past as WMP 8 doesn't play divX)

yes it does! but only if you got divx codec installed correctly on your system. i use WMP8 to play my divx avi as well as using the old skool 6.4 version.

bsplayer is my choice

Bsplayer gives you more options than winmedia. One thing I like about it is the option to adjust the aspect ratio 16:9 (widescreen) among others. Plus their are tons of skins to choose from. And it works great on XP too!
