playback goes into a loopback

Starts to play a DivX movie just fine then get a pop up error box with the following error!

Microsoft Visual c++ Rumtime Library.

Runtime error.

...DivX\DivXplayer2.0Alpha\DivXplayer2.0Alpha.exe

Abnormal Program Termination.


I have to do a Cont Alt Del to end the loop back! Anybody got any ideas as to what I need to do? I'm brand new at this!

Just don't use the Divx Player, it's buggy as hell. Use WMP6.4 or any other DirectShow based player.
