Die Another Day ( no image)

I have Die another day in 2 divx-files of approximately 200 Mb each. Unfortunatly I can't view them. I have the latest codecs (Nimo version 8 and Divx version 5.0.2) and I've checked with Gspot if I have the required codecs. But still I get a black image and no sound. Has anyone got any ideas?

    Thanks

For each of the files, do the following:
    1. Open the file in Virtualdub
    2. Go to File -> File Information
    3. Post what information you see here

I can't open the files with Virtual Dub because I don't have decompressor for format DX50
      Whatever that means

Go to www.divx.com and install the DivX 5.02 codec.

                Yes I did install it.

That's what made it able to work in Virtual Dub and to get the file information but the image is still black and no sound.

when you try to play the file, which FILTER is active for this playback?

                    divx5 or ffdshow?

when installing 396 the way i proposed FFDSHOW should have been installed as well.

check your program folder TSUNAMI, if present start ffdshow configurator

when started, on the top left you will find CODECS in ffdshow.
click it, and on the right hand side tick DIVX5 playback and thus instructing ffdshow to handle divx5 playback.

I did what you told me to do in the ffdshow configurator but nothing has changed.

BS Player and DivX Player 2.0 Alpha but it takes DivX player a while.
