            I don't think so.

            It's the only divX I'm unable to view. According to Gspot I have what it takes to view it.
            Maybe something worth mentioning: in the first part, at the very beginning I see a green "flash" (just one image) and then it's just black.

              you said you're now able to open the file in virtualdub, right?

              could you load the file in vd, set audio and video to direct stream and save to a new file and try playback again?

                Saving it again in Virtual Dub made no difference except that DivX player Alpha 2 shows the black image instantly whereas before it took a while to get started.
