just gone over to windows xp. was successful in encoding avi to mpg with tmpeng and burning onto vcd with nero on windows 98. Now trying to do the same using windows xp and having trouble getting things to work. Also the vcds which i have burned when using windows 98 will not play on the new 9 series windows media player. Anyone got advice please let me know its driving me nuts.

Install the older more reliable Windows Media Player v.6.4

(From your desktop - Start>>Run - Type Mplayer2.exe)
