    How to join multiple segments?

I have an .avi that's split into 43 segments 15MB each, in the format 'movie.avi.001' to 'movie.avi.043'.

Problem is, I didn't do this myself, I got the files from a friend, and neither one of us knows how to join these files into one 'movie.avi' playable file.

What program could have made this and how do I join them?

    Thanks!

when i was reading your post i thought .................hé, an easy one --->WINRAR (and 43 * 15 gives a 645 Mb movie)

But then i saw your files have the extension 001 iso r01 etc

      A question:
Do you also have one file that is named .rar ?
      (just in case )

If this is not the case then i think you have some files from an old internetsite called cybermoviez. They distributed moviez to their members this way and had a program that could build those files into one .avi file, but i doubt you can get a hold of that program, so in which case i would be bad luck

btw what is the name of that movie ?

I thought it might be rar too, but there's no rar file, and winrar doesn't recognize the files. I've also tried loading them into Virtualdub, and it gets loaded, but all the frames are empty, so I'm guessing they're not just split.

The movie is American History X

            Problem solved!

I got a tip about a program called HJSplit:

This program does the trick, so I finally can get to see this movie.

            Thanks for your help though!
