VOB to VCD conversion?
Hello,
I have converted my DVD footage to VCD with DVDx software. I need a guide in order to choose proper ratio, like going from original DVD 704x480 to VCD 352x240, both at 29.97 fps. Maybe, I am not doing the right calculation for conversion. The above example is one job order that I have used on to convert my DVD to VCD. How do I determine this conversion ratio and other settings for optimum image quality?
What cause noise in video, like jazzed movement (ex.: boxing match)? It is more noticeable in the conversion DVD to VCD to RealVideo. My Adobe Premiere 6.5 Advanced RealMedia export settings of 35.4 Sure Stream for 56K modem resulted in blurred movement and some jazzed movement in my boxing footage. I want to stream this video on my web site.
