Jerking video playing

Hi i need help here. My video play back is very jerking, the frames stops and play like every 2 seconds althought the audio play back is perfectly fine. This happens to all my software, Windows media player, quicktime, DIVX player, realplayer.

It never happen before, and i tried removing everything related to video and reinstalling them, it work at first but later the problem was back. I tried to check the play back after i installed each software, it was ok at first but the problem just came back again.

I have installed the following software in my system, just for ur infor: Direct X 9, Windows media player 9, Divx 5.03, real player plus.

I really do not wish to restort in reformating my system. Hope someone knows how to fix this problem. Thx

First of all assuming this is a AVI I would recomend uninstalling DivX 5.0.3 and getting the Tsuanmi 3.9.9 codec pack for ALL of your Digital Video needs and maybe that will help.

Try the old trusty WMP 6.4
"mplayer2.exe" at the run command in the start menu
