WMP/Zoom wont play movie

Im trying to play TheRing part two(cd2). When i open the file with WMP/Zoomplayer, both programs cut out and ask me to send an error report to microsoft. Is the file corrupted or do i need a vidoe codec? Id really like to see the second part of this movie, please help!!

Open it up and GSpot and see if it clears ok.

Alternativly open it up in VirtualDub and in the file drop-down menu select File Information and post everything it says.

Also try BSPlayer. Assuming it is AVI

I think its a corrupted file it can happen because of corrupted codec too.
like skd_Tech said try rendering it let see if that works!
