CRC error

I have a big problem

Last night I was watching a divx movie when about 20min before it's end it stopped and a message appeared-> Data error (Cyclic redundancy check).

Can anyone help me, because i'd really like to watch the end of the movie

Can't you just move the slider a little bit further

What you can do is:
Download Virtual Dub-mp3-freeze and check your movie for bad frames

If there are any they will be logged C:\badframes.log

You can then try to repair those frames with AVIDeFreezer

I tried to move the slider and then the move plays for about 3 sec and then the error message reappears.

And the defreezer doesn't work either

Any Other Ideas?

I'm confused. Do you mean you checked for bad frames and could not repair them with AVIDeFreezer?

So the you found bad frames ! ?

If you can't repair them with AVIDeFreezer then your only other option (as far as i know) is deleting the bad frames with Virtual- or Nandub .................... but you will loose a part of your movie this way
