    Audio problem

    Hi,

All of a sudden the volume in movies is much lower than the volume in an mp3 for example, or any other audio file being played at the same speaker level.

I've tried looking and adjusting each and every audio volume this computer has, played movies trough Crystal Player, WMP9, Divx player, windvd 5...

I looked at Audio Codecs in the CP and Fraunhofer 1.9 Build 305 is listed for the mp3. Following the date (c) 1996-1999 makes me believe it's kind of outdated?

I have all the latest codecs installed, divx/xvid wise, the only thing I've done regarding to this domain, was installing Dr DIvx, which I uninstalled afterwards, but I'm not sure if that's the problem.

I'd really appreciate any help on this!

Do you mean that specific movies that used to play fine now play at lower volume? The same movie files?
If it's different files, you may find the answer in this post: http://forum.digital-digest.com/show...threadid=24817
    And welcome to the forum.
