xvid-divx codec problem

hi, i dont know if this goes here but i have a playback problem with the xvid codec, you see the last time i tried to get the newest version of the divx codec it messed up the playback of the xvid in windows media player, i only get sound, i uninstalled that version of divx and went back to an old one but the problem remains, no matter how many times i reinstall xvid it wont show me any picture, can someone help me?

I think i got rid of the problem, i installed the bsplayer and i can finally uninstall the divx player, the new version of the divx codec and player take over the xvid codec and makes it only playable in the divx player by force, if you can, avoid getting the player, it uses up 100% of your computer's memory and the playback is not that good either, use the bsplayer instead. thanks anyway.

use it with the player of your choice

i consider zoomplayer, bsplayer and media player classic good players
