Hi
Im new at this and I have absolutely no idea of what I'm doing wrong. Thankful for any help
Just bought a tv-card to be able to capture some old vhs movies and burn them to dvd. I tried the software that I got with the card that supposed to encode to mpeg2 in realtime. It worked well when i captured in lower quality but when I captured in higher resoloution the movie didnt run smooth.
I used a different program to capture to avi, no frameloss occured. Then I tried TMPGenc to encode the movie to dvd-format....same problem. The movie runs for a couple of seconds, then it freezes..then scips a second or so.
Is my computer to slow to encode movies at higher resolutions?
This is my configuration:
AMD Athlon 2100+ on motherboard Asus A7V333
256 mb ram
Capture card is AVerTv Studio 303
