    Audio Subtitles??

I would like to know if there is any way to remove an audio subtitle from an .avi file. When I say audio subtitle, basically I mean a english movie with another language added over top of the english words. Trying these sorts of things as experiments but usually you can't make out anything because they're conflicting with each other.
However, if the .avi is made that way, is it possible to use something like FlaskMPEG to get the sound to a seperate file and then use some other program to rip out the audio subtitles that I've put in???
Or would a sound file like this be just one stream and not editable in this way??

are we talking about an avi file that contains TWO audio streams and you're hearing both at the same time?

if so, install morgan stream switcher and you will be able to select the language you'd like

      No....

Unfortunately I'm talking about 1 audio track. I was trying to get two so that you could use something like the stream switcher to use which ever one you wanted, but I have only one track now with both sets of languages and you can hear them both.
I figured that if this happens there's no way to seperate the audio because it's one thing now, but I also thought it was worth asking too....

you cannot simply create ONE audio file out of two

demux your streams and start anew
