    MPG playback problems

    Hi folks. n00b here.

I have several gigs of HDTV rips I downloaded over eDonkey (eMule). They're completely legit - music performances taken from a local HD station here in Seoul.

I've gotten most of them to play. All of the avi files will play, but most of the mpgs won't. I have the latest Windows Media codec pack installed, which contains recent mpg codecs.

    Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Ack... Never mind. Figured out my problem. Used the AVIcodec utility. Needed the Mpeg2 codec. Downloaded Stinky's Mpeg2 Codec. Problem solved.
