need help joining huge dv movies

captured some video using ulead videstudio 7 and it splited my movie to two parts (4gb and 2.5gb). I am using NTFS file system and want to join these files to one 6.5gb file. tryed some software as avi joiner, movie joiner but these crashed with such a huge files.. by the way captured video is type-1 and i am really not going to convert it to type-2 so virtualdub is useless for me... so can anyone help me find the right software which wouldn't recompress my video?

no it's dv type-1
there is two types of camcorder captured dv format files (type-1 and type-2)
